Rooftop Housing Group

Recruit young people to create a youth panel to inform decision-making within Worcestershire and Gloucestershire.

#TeenStrategy Objective:

Create a campaign that would encourage young people to join a local youth panel that would influence local decision-making.

#TeenStrategy Solution:

We designed a project that recruited two different groups of young people and created a campaign and visual style that would engage a wide range of teens. Firstly we recruited a group of college students and these were complimented with a group of teens who were being supported by part of the housing group.

Activated #TeenStrategy:

  • Co-created a youth marketing campaign over eight-sessions
  • Developed activity to promote YAB – Youth Advisory Board
  • Developed a series of posters and campaign style built about ‘young people having a voice’.

#TeenStrategy Success:

The awareness of the campaign led to a joint approach with the local authority and an increase in the number of young people involved in local democracy and decision-making.
